Audio Listening — Language / Comprehension Variant
An audio-driven listening exercise with playback controls and comprehension prompts that quiz the learner on what they just heard — pilots a French listening lesson but the pattern fits any language or listening comprehension drill.
Best for: Language and listening comprehension lessons where the learner must hear the audio, often more than once, then answer questions about it.

What it does
- Audio player with full controls — play, pause, scrub, replay, and adjustable playback speed so the learner can listen as many times as needed
- Comprehension prompts — multiple-choice or short-answer questions about what was just heard
- Reveal-on-demand transcript — an optional transcript can be shown after the learner attempts the questions
- Per-question feedback — instant correct/revisit cues with a short explanation per answer
- Replay-clip-from-question — each question can include a 'play this part again' button that scrubs to the relevant timestamp
Best use cases
- Language learning — French, Spanish, ESL listening drills, dialect practice
- Music education — interval ear training, chord-quality identification, rhythm dictation
- Customer-facing roles — accent comprehension, call-recording analysis, voicemail practice
- Accessibility and literacy — listening comprehension practice for early readers and ESL students
- Podcast and media training — analyzing interview clips, ad reads, narration excerpts
What you can change with your DNA
When you run this through the remix skill, your CCOS DNA — brand, voice, audience — drives these decisions automatically:
- Colors — slots for page background, audio player, question card background, correct/incorrect feedback colors, and accent
- Fonts — two roles: a display font for headings and prompts, plus a body font for choices and transcript
- Copy — title, intro line, audio caption, comprehension prompts, choice text, feedback messages, and transcript
- Images and audio — the audio clip is the main customization, plus an optional cover image, speaker portrait, or scene illustration
- Behavior — choose how many questions, whether the transcript is shown after attempt, whether playback speed control is available, and how strict matching is for short-answer questions
